Finn Valley was commissioned by Transport for New South Wales to replace multiple culvert sites along the Oxley Highway, Mount Seaview west of Wauchope.

Various phases of the project presented challenges such as unstable surfaces, steep inclines, traffic management, and the site’s remoteness. These obstacles were addressed through thorough risk assessment, utilization of fall protection measures, and designated spotters.
Effective communication was upheld between Finn Valley’s workforce and traffic control crews. Regular walkthroughs were conducted with Finn Valley supervisors and the traffic control team leader to strategize appropriate traffic management, ensuring safety and project progression.
Despite logistical challenges, such as distance from the concrete batch plant hindering timely delivery of stabilized sand, Finn Valley established a laydown area for material delivery. Concrete trucks delivered material to this site, enabling Finn Valley to transport it efficiently to the required culvert locations.
The project was executed to the highest standards and completed within the designated timeframe.
